Reprographics specialist, the Entwistle Group, has acquired the business of Copyrite, based at Chadwick House in Birchwood. Karen Lea, founder of Copyrite in 1991, continues as manager with the new business, overseeing the introduction of a greatly extended range of digital reprographic services.

Karen Lea, founder of Copyrite in 1991, continues as manager with the new business, overseeing the introduction of a greatly extended range of digital reprographic services.

Besides colour and mono copying, the new bureau will provide a full range of print and finishing services. Clients in construction, training, retail, marketing and creative services now have instant access for everything from business cards to complex plan printing and exhibition graphics.

Through the group's flagship digital imaging operation, which is based in Manchester, the Warrington bureau will also provide high quality Indigo colour print for posters, brochures, tender documents and training manuals. Project management of construction drawings is another new service available via the group's own Printerlink web-enabled software. This secure service can also include distribution and project archiving.

Karen explained, "We have strong ties to local construction companies and training organisations. Joining the Entwistle Group means we now have the resources and support to offer our clients a much greater choice of services as well as being able to attract a wider range of customers and having the capacity to cope with even the largest project."

Customers can continue to use the expanded range of services at Chadwick House on a walk-in basis. However, work can also be collected and delivered. The latest equipment from OCE, Cannon and Hewlett Packard has been installed to complement the existing equipment. A high speed ADSL broadband link allows clients to access bureau services from their own premises and place orders at any time of the day.

Entwistle Group has been in print and graphics supplies for more than 100 years. Moving with the times, the group has always embraced new technology to provide improved services to its extensive client base. Following the successful launch of the Warrington bureau, the group has plans to expand its UK network by opening a new reprographics and print operation in Liverpool during the first half of 2005.
