Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 21, 2005
ZERORISK HR, Inc. today announced it has named Joe Sommers as director of training & development. Sommers is an acknowledged expert with a twenty year career in human resources management focusing on employee development, staffing, recruiting, interviewing training, college relations, coaching/mentoring, and competency development. Through his expertise in these areas, he has assisted various organizations and associations in developing strategic employment and retention programs using effective cost-saving strategies. As a national employment director, Joe guided the staffing, college relations, international assignments, and relocation programs for Ericsson, a worldwide leader in telecommunications. Prior to his service at Ericsson, Joe assisted Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) with the development and integration of an innovative behavioral interview program for experienced hiring.
JoeÂs appointment to this newly created position within the organization will allow ZERORISK HR to expand its behavioral interview training workshops, ZERORISK Hiring System certification training seminars, and client implementation programs. This will enable ZERORISK to meet the growing demand from companies seeking these training services to help them streamline successful hiring techniques, manage competencies and deal with performance and retention issues.
ÂJoe brings a unique blend of corporate recruiting/staffing best practices experience with the ability to effectively convey his experience and knowledge to others in a training format said Mike Poskey, vice president of ZERORISK HR, Inc. ÂThe training programs he conducted for our clients last year received such rave reviews that we realized he would be a great addition to our team. With Joe at the helm of our training efforts, we are positioned to help any organization substantially improve its ability to add top talent to its workforce.Â
Joe recently served on the national board of directors for EMA as vice president of Professional Development and on the DFW EMA board as past chairman. He is also the president-elect for 2005 for the DFW EMA. He has served on technical university advisory boards, including the Global Wireless Education Consortium, a partnership between academia and the telecommunications industry.
