Romantic Times BOOKclub Magazine Nominees for Best Books and Authors of 2004.

The envelope, please! Romantic Times BOOKclub Magazine unveils the contenders in women's fiction, mystery, fantasy and more for the best of 2004.

(PRWEB) January 21, 2005 -- Another phenomenal year in publishing has come and gone and the industry's leading book magazine, Romantic Times BOOKclub (http://www.romantictimes.com), has selected the nominees for best books and authors for 2004. The team of over 40 reviewers covered more books last year than ever before in its 24-year history. The fan-favorite magazine launched its first issue in 1981, under the name Romantic Times, specializing in the then burgeoning romance novel industry. Today the name has been changed to Romantic Times BOOKclub magazine to reflect the many genres of women's fiction it covers, including romance, mystery, science fiction/fantasy, erotica, inspirationals, chick lit, romantic suspense and bestseller fiction.

The reviewers have mulled over last year's books and taken on the laborious task of selecting, from thousands of books they have reviewed, the nominees for the Romantic Times BOOKclub Career Achievement and Reviewers' Choice awards. For the Reviewers' Choice nominees, RT's knowledgeable team selected only those books that deeply resonated with them. The Career Achievement nominees represent authors who boast exceptional bodies of work throughout their careers. The list of nominees can be found in the February issue (#252) of Romantic Times BOOKclub (order at http://www.romantictimes.com/d_magaz/d2_back.shtml) or can be viewed online along with 10 years' worth of prior nominees and winners. The website also includes over 25,000 RT BOOKclub reviews printed in the last 10 years, a great resource for readers, writers and industry professionals.

Winners will be printed in the June issue of Romantic Times BOOKclub, just prior to RT's 22nd Annual Booklovers Convention in St. Louis, Missouri, April 28 to May 1, 2005 (http://www.rtconvention.com). Winners will be honored at a luncheon at the convention, and awards will be presented to authors in attendance. The Romantic Times Booklovers Convention is a much anticipated annual event that brings together readers, aspiring writers, published authors, booksellers, editors, agents distributors, wholesalers and the chain store buyers under one roof to celebrate and support the book industry.
