The Director of Infectious Diseases at the World Health Organization (WHO), Klaus Stohr, has predicted a worldwide pandemic that could kill as many as one-third of earth's population. He's talking about H5N1, or "bird flu."
The first signs of the pandemic have already appeared in Asia. Vietnam is in the grips of an outbreak of bird flu. More than 100 million poultry have been slaughtered in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus.
And a vaccine is 12 months away. Meanwhile, people are dying from H5N1 in Vietnam, Thailand, and other Asian countries.
The Centers for Disease Control in the U.S. and the World Health Organization know very little about H5N1, but they do know this: it only responds to one antiviral, and only one.
The new eBook, "How to Protect Your Family Against the Coming Pandemic," written by science writer John Hart, explains in detail the 3 medical measures available to protect your family right now: 1) where to buy the only high-tech filter mask that kills H5N1 and many other viruses -- Hint: it isn't an N95; 2) the very small supply of antiviral pills available to fight off H5N1 and where to get them; 3) What you can do to kill H5N1 immediately if you get it.
This new 97-page eBook describes how this deadly pathogen not only has the ability to mutate rapidly, but it's one of the first intelligent viruses researchers have uncovered. It is one reason why Klaus Stohr at WHO is so alarmed.
Mr. Hart said "The threat against the survival of the speices comes not from global warming, or terrorists, or even ourselves. It comes from a strand of new DNA about 300 nanometers long."
Mr. Hart explains in his ebook how the bird flu developed, what the risk is to our families, how unprepared the U.S. and other governments are. Hart advises "Don't wait for your government to save you. Be proactive and take action yourself. If you wait for a vaccine, it may be too late."
A media copy of the eBook is available by request to email@example.com and Mr. Hart is available for radio and print interviews.
Mr. Hart is a member of the National Association of Science Writers, and an MFA candidate in an Oregon University. He has worked as a professional researcher for the past 10 years in the fields of biology, microbiology, alternative health, etc.
