OPM3 Assessor Workshop, Washington, DC, March 23-25, 2005

OPM Experts announces a workshop on the Project Management Institutes "Organizational Project Management Maturity Model" in Washington, DC, March 23 -- 25, 2005.

(PRWEB) January 23, 2005 -- "We are pleased to announce an exciting new version of our OPM3 Assessor Workshop," says John Schlichter, founder and President of OPM Experts. "Having led PMIs program to develop the OPM3 standard, subsequently having led OPM3 maturity assessments for client organizations, and after hosting the OPM3 Assessor Workshop in cities from America to China, we now have new and unique insights that can help organizations get the most out of their maturity assessment and investments in project management in 2005."

The 3-day workshop will occur in Washington, DC between March 23 and 25, 2005. The price of registration is discounted 30% for delegates who buy their seats by February 23, 2005.

Developed by hundreds of practitioners in industry and government over five years, the PMI OPM3 is a standard for industry and government that explains excellent business practices emphasizing two things: 1) choosing the right projects to execute organizational strategies, and 2) implementing the processes, structures, and behaviors necessary to deliver projects successfully, consistently, and predictably. This discipline is called Organizational Project Management or OPM. The OPM3 standard describes excellence in these two areas in terms of roadmaps from lesser to more advanced capabilities that can be assessed. Through an OPM3 assessment using this standard, an organization's current profile or level of maturity is identified, as well as the next steps toward becoming more capable.
