TradingBell CMS v.3.2 is designed to create, manage and publish product catalogs for manufacturers and catalogers. TradingBell also announced the launch of its new service ActiveCatalogs. This service enables small to mid size companies to co-source the process of designing and publishing with TradingBell. With ActiveCatalogs service, manufacturers and wholesalers can manage their product data using the ActiveCatalogs web tools and TradingBell will design and deliver print ready catalog files in PDF -- reducing the cost, resource and time associated with publishing catalogs in-house.
Companies have always found catalog publishing has had its unique challenges. A major challenge is compiling thousands of product items, with a dozen or more bits of information about each item, and making it all look good in print. All of this, much too often has to be completed on a tight budget and with hard deadlines.
Additionally, the catalog publisher must also deal with the Web site that is always in need of constant updating, an endless stream of flyers, CD-ROM, regional versioning, price versioning, demands for smaller targeted catalogs and special e-procurement deals with big customers.
