Indiana Country Band SHILO to Perform With National Recording Artist Joe Nichols

Shilo set to open the show for Joe Nichols in Indianapolis on January 26, 2005

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) January 23, 2005 -- Indiana country music act Shilo is slated to perform with national recording artist Joe Nichols at the 8 Seconds Saloon in Indianapolis, IN on January 26, 2005. Doors to the club open at 6:00 P.M. with Shilo taking the stage at 9:00 P.M. "We are so excited about the chane to work with Joe Nichols" stated lead guitarist Mike Stoner. "Any opportunity to work with a seasoned performer like Joe Nichols is such an honor, and great experience for us as a band" he added. This isn't the first experience Shilo has had with working with National Acts. Shilo in the past has worked with Legends like Bill Anderson and Michael Johnson along with very popular acts such as Diamond Rio, Phil Vassar, Mindy McCready, Linda Davis and most recently last fall with Jimmy Wayne. "I think this will be a great show and we look forward to performing for all the folks in Indianapolis and working with Joe Nichols" Stoner added.

Shilo was established in 1997. Amidst humble beginnings, Shilo performed for small clubs across Northern Indiana and Western Ohio, developing their unique style. In the late 90's Shilo's popularity began to grow, as did the demand for performances. In 1998 and 1999 Shilo's tour schedule averaged about 30 to 40 shows per year. In 2000 the demand pushed them up to between 60 and 75 shows per year. In the addition of dates included some of the largest and well-known country music venues in the area. Along with the club dates, Shilo played numerous community festivals, benefits and private parties and functions. In 2004, Shilo competed in the Colgate Country Showdown. Shilo advanced all the way to the state level, where they competed at the Indiana State Fair ! Shilo finished in second place that day out of all the country music acts in the state. Shilo has gained attention on CMT.com and has made new fans all over the United States !Shilo continues to grow and looks forward to what the future will bring.
