Mansell Group Acquires Leading Marketing Communications Firm

Mansell Group, a provider of email marketing/communications and customer relationship solutions, has acquired WordOne, a leading provider of strategic communications solutions focused solely on the nonprofit market. The purchase enables Mansell Group to deepen their services to non-profit clients such as AARP, National Education Association and the American Cancer Society. WordOne will operate as a separate business unit of Mansell Group, Inc., remaining in its Decatur offices with founder Betsey Russell and vice president Andrea Galloy, as well as other key personnel, in place.

Founded in 1996, WordOne is a team of strategic marketing consultants, writers and designers committed to working solely with nonprofits, foundations and member associations. WordOne provides branding, communications and marketing strategy, and design and production services to its clients. Since its inception, WordOne’s client list has grown to include the Southeastern Council of Foundations, the Association of Small Foundations, Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Bellsouth Foundation, The Home Depot Foundation, Rockdale Foundation, Sapelo Foundation, Albany (GA) Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Center for Nonprofits, Metro Atlanta Arts Fund and the American Heart Association.
