New Online Author Group Takes On Literary World By Storm
Announcing new online group for aspiring as well as published authors for a chance to talk to bestselling authors of all genres.
(PRWEB) January 23, 2005 -- Dorothy Thompson announces a new online author group that is taking the literary world by storm.
TWL Author Talks is the brainchild of author and editor Dorothy Thompson of the Eastern Shore of Virginia and looks to be one of the most successful e-groups for writers of any genre. Any aspiring, as well as published authors, are invited to sign up for a chance to converse one-on-one with top best selling authors such as Carly Phillips, Christine Feehan, Jenna McKnight, Karen Kay, Kay Hooper, Jennifer Blake and more in the upcoming months on such topics as how they became successful, their take on agents and publicists, the traditional markets and more. Each of these authors will come in on their designated week and answer questions from the members, plus they will be giving away autographed books as door prizes.
Im so happy that TWL Author Talks has taken off as it has," says Thompson. I thought it would be so neat if there were a place where authors of any genre could come in and give us pointers on how to become successful. Only best-selling authors are invited to speak which makes this group unique.
What was astounding was the fact that these authors were quite willing to come in to talk to my group. Karen Kay was invited the first week and she loved it so much that she ended up giving all the members who participated free books. The group was astounded."
Dorothy Thompson is no stranger to the world of writing, as well as writing e-groups. Her other e-group that she founded in 2001, The Writers Life (named after her successful online magazine for writers) came in the top ten of the Preditors and Editors Readers Poll for two consecutive years. Aside from moderating e-groups, Ms. Thompson is also the compiler/editor/contributing author of the book, Romancing the Soul-True Stories of Soul Mates from Around the World and Beyond" (Zumaya Publications, 2004) and is a syndicated relationship columnist.
