Soulripperz Web Site Launched

Cinema Lexzikon, a local independent film company, has announced the launching of a web site, http://www.soulripperz.com, to promote its latest project: Soulripperz: Born in Hell

“The site is intended to showcase the movie and everyone connected to it,” says Harlow Keith, one of the executive producers. “It will feature the cast and the crew with biographies and interviews. We will also post chapters of a book based on the movie and this will appear as a routine series.”

Cinema Lexzikon hopes the new web site will allow the company to better capitalize on the renewed interest in action and horror films. “Film experts predict the horror and action movies will be the dominant genre in 2005,” says executive producer and director William Lee. ‘Soulripperz has them both; it’s a chill and a thrill. We have martial arts and vampires rolling across the silver screen. The audience is sure to love it.” The director is more than optimistic about the film’s future success for another reason as well. “We are in the post-production stage and already there are some distributors who are showing interest in Soulripperz. We expect to be ready for release this summer, and have Soulripperz in theaters and video stores nationwide.”

The web site will follow the movie’s progress. Plans are for soulripperz.com to be continually updated with new material. “We’ll have fresh content and new book chapters on a routine basis,” says Keith. “It would be great if folks visit us again and again. Hopefully, soulripperz.com will generate so much interest that people will want to see the movie when it becomes available to the public later this year.”
