Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School is Hiring Teachers and Consultants

Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School is looking for curriculum developers and expert teachers in English Language Arts, World Literature, and Chemistry.

(PRWEB) January 28, 2005 -- AMSA will have 12 subjects: Math, Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering Design, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, World Geography, History, World Literature, English Language, Foreign Language, Art/Arts History, and Physical Education. AMSA will use unique curricula in all subjects. The team of professionals - experts in each subjects field has developed the outlines.

We are currently in the process of selecting a group of professionals who will turn the outlines into syllabi for 6th and 7th grades.

The syllabus should consist of the detailed curriculum, lesson schedule, teacher's manual and include examples of assignments, quiz and test problems in a few difficulty levels. The outline should provide the distribution of classroom hours by topics.

For the curriculum and syllabi development we are looking for the English Language Arts, World Literature, and Chemistry experts to work on the consulting basis to develop syllabi for 7th grade.

The potential candidates should have a M.S. degree or Ph.D. in a corresponding field and at least 10 years of teaching experience at middle and high school levels (middle school to college level preferred) as well as experience in developing learning materials and participating in innovative educational projects.

In addition, we are looking for the experienced teachers in 7 foreign languages that AMSA will offer: Latin, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, and Hebrew.

All interested teachers, educators, and experts in the field are invited to apply for the positions. Please visit our website www.amsacs.org and send your resume and statement of interest to Mikhail Khmelnitskiy, the Principal of the Academy. You will find the email address in About AMSACS section.
