HI-POD Receives SCORE Business Success Story Award

SCORE (Senior Core of Retired Executives) held their annual banquet honoring the top 3 business success stories of the year 2004. HI-POD was proud to be one of the three companies selected for this generous award.

The award was bestowed to individuals that demonstrated an excellent product, vision, and ability to manage and grow a company.

Ken Mann, the chairman of the Los Angeles division of SCORE, hosted the event. Mike Borzi, representing the Los Angeles Mayor's office handed out the awards to each of the recipients. Larry Schwimmer, SCORE couselor for HI-POD, introduced Rick Morales- the president of HI-POD to the southern California SCORE body.

HI-POD was not only recieving an award, it was working the event as well. Enrique Morales provided a HI-POD not only for demonstration purposes but also to record the entire award ceremony. Breathtaking video and still images were captured of the event at 15 feet above the Marriotts Bayview banquet room in Marina Del Rey, California. SCORE was very pleased that its star company was showing off its multi-tasking capabilities.
