iStabilize 2.0 Released

Pixlock announces release of version 2.0 of iStabilize, the video stabilizer for MacOS X. Version 2.0 brings several new features and improvements, among them a faster and more accurate motion tracker and better handling of margins.

(PRWEB) January 29, 2005 -- iStabilize 2.0 introduces a completely redesigned motion tracker, which is more accurate and much faster than its predecessor. It is more adaptive and can better handle foreground motion. Furthermore, it recognizes cuts and allows for easy stabilization over multiple scenes. Motion tracking can be optionally restricted to a user definable spatial area. Altogether, this improves and simplifies integration into post production.

For better handling of margins, movies can be cropped, and a new filling method can be applied for smoother spatial transitions. Time navigation has been improved in several respects. A scrub mode allows for better evaluation of the stabilization effect. Support for Quartz Extreme provides better quality and performance in preview mode.

A license for iStabilize 2.0 costs 59.00 US$, an update from previous versions 24.00 $. For more information, sample movies, and a demo version, please visit our website at: http://www.iStabilize.de.
