Singer/songwriter, Liza Quin, will host a new season of American Latino TV, a nationally syndicated, half-hour culture and lifestyle program which debuted in October, 2004. The show is the largest-distributed, weekly English program produced for U.S. Latinos. The new season is set to launch on January 31, on more than 75 outlets in 70 markets across the U.S., Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico representing more than 57 million homes.

Liza Quin, a multi-faceted musical artist, has worked in the industry for most of her life. Performing since she was five; writing and recording since the age of eight, and a professional songwriter at 18, Quin is the perfect fit for American Latino TV, which shows viewers an entertaining and informative look into the culture influencing U.S. mainstream today. American Latino TV serves as a step in front of the camera for Liza Quin who is also working on a solo music career.

The accomplished Cuban-American’s first single, “There’s No Me” (Without You), will appear on the up-coming Return to Glory tribute album, a True Life Entertainment/Navarre Corporation recording, due out in April. The album is a follow-up to the successful book by the same name, co-authored by Don Griffin, a human resources consultant and Joel Freeman, an accomplished author of five bestsellers in 26 languages. A Spanish language version of the song is also in the works and she is currently in the studio recording her full-length, debut album set to launch in 2005.

American Latino TV targets the largest untapped market today; young, U.S.-born Hispanics, which account for more than 60 per cent of the entire Hispanic market. The show solidifies AIM Tell-A-Vision’s position as the leader of English television programming for U.S. Latinos.

  • New York: WCBS, Saturday late nights at 2:00 a.m. and on Metro Cable Sundays at 7:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.
  • Miami: WFOR-CBS, Saturday nights at 1:00 a.m.
  • Chicago: WBBM-CBS, Saturday nights at 12:30 a.m.
  • Dallas: KTXA-UPN Saturday nights at midnight
  • San Diego: XETV-Fox Saturdays at 12:00 p.m. / Noon
  • Houston: KPRC-NBC Saturdays at 1 a.m.
