Mok3 Introduces Perspective Clone Brush Plug-in for Adobe Photoshop Software - Unique Mok3 Plug-in Software Takes the Guesswork Out of Digital Cloning for 3D Perspective

Mok3 today introduced its Perspective Clone Brush plug-in for Adobe® Photoshop® Software. Graphics designers, architects, interior designers, and all digital artists editing images can now rapidly clone areas in an image with automatic correction for 3D perspective. In addition to saving countless hours of painting or manual retouching, the Perspective Clone Brush also features advanced capabilities to perform its cloning operation with simultaneous correction for differences in lighting and scale in the image.

Waltham, MA (PRWEB) January 31, 2005 -- Mok3 today introduced its Perspective Clone Brush plug-in for Adobe® Photoshop® Software.

Graphics designers, architects, interior designers, and digital artists can dramatically increase their productivity using the Mok3 Perspective Clone Brush. Conventional cloning tools let digital artists paint by copying portions of an image, but the images may not blend properly due to differences in the 3D perspective in the target clone area. For example, with the regular clone brush, the windows on the west-facing side of a building painted onto a south-facing side of that building would not be aligned properly due to the differences in the 3D perspectives of the two sides of the building. A digital artist could spend hours distorting the new textures to obtain the correct perspective for the cloned information. The Mok3 Perspective Clone Brush eliminates the iterative guesswork required to clone textures from one perspective to another.

The Perspective clone brush paints textures in correct 3D perspective within one virtual drawing plane, or between two virtual drawing planes with different orientations. In one drawing plane, this can be a fast solution to paint out obstructions, like parked cars and people, from digital images where it might be difficult to obtain ideal site conditions for photographs. Architects can use the Perspective Clone Brush to quickly reproduce details of a building. For example, using the corrective light and scale options, features and textures on a distant face of a building in the shade can be quickly and correctly cloned onto a nearby building face in the sun. The Perspective Clone Brush eliminates all the guesswork required to distort an image to approximate those conditions including adjustments for differences in lighting and scale.

The Mok3 Perspective Clone Brush is an ideal solution for architects and interior designers," said Diego Matho, Director of Design Computing at the Boston Architecture Center. The Boston Architecture Center is an independent, professional college offering bachelors and masters degrees in both architecture and interior design. The Perspective Clone Brush is easy to use and provides a fast way to clone features on building facade and interior wall designs. Every student will want to use this tool."
