Campaign-Kick Off

The Honorable Eric J. Perrodin, Mayor and Lillie Dobson, Councilwoman in the City of Compton California held their campaign kick off on Friday, February 28, 2005 at the Crystal Park Hotel and Casino, 123 East Artesia Boulevard, Compton California.

(PRWEB) February 3, 2005 -- The event was very well attended. There was standing room only. The candidates marched in to the sound of Ray Charles singing America. They were received with a standing ovation. The crowded room sent a clear message that a community in past history has only been known for its corrupt politicians, and now finally they have some leaders they can trust. The concerned citizens of Compton strong attendance validated that they are very happy with the new direction the city has taken and are committed to electing them back into office.

Some of the guest in attendance were: Judge Ellen Deshazer, Compton Drug Court, Judge Kelvin Filer, Compton Court, Steven Bradford, Councilman Gardena, Dr. Willie Jones, Compton Community College Board Trustee, Margie Shipp, Compton Unified School District Board Member, Gladys Russell, Community Activist, Concerned Citizens, California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles, County Sheriff, Firefighters, Doctors, Nurses and City Employees, just to name a few.
No more corrupt politicians in our city was echoed throughout the room by citizens.

Elect Eric J. Perrodin, Mayor and Lillie Dobson, Councilwoman for four more years.
