On February 12th, 2005, Edmonton author Cheryl Kaye Tardif will be interviewed on New Age Radio based in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. Tardif is the author of the psi-fi hit 'Divine Intervention'.

Edmonton, AB (PRWEB) February 2, 2005 -- When Edmonton author, Cheryl Kaye Tardif, sent out her latest press release, If You Think 'Medium is Hot, Check Out 'Divine Intervention, she was surprised by an invitation to be interviewed on New Age Radio based in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. Tardif was contacted by Dan McFarland, the host of a weekly talk show devoted to discovering and learning more about herbal healing, natural medicine, ghosts, psychics, UFO's and the paranormal". McFarland will interview Tardif on February 12th, 2005 between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. (Illinois time!) http://www.newageradio.net/shows.html

I'm very excited to be asked to participate in this interview," Tardif states. And very excited that they thought Divine Intervention, in particular, was worthy of discussion on their show."

In Divine Intervention, the first in Tardifs Divine series, the three leading characters are psychic investigators secretly working for the Canadian government. Agent Jasi McLellan, a Pyro-Psychic haunted by a dead girl, reads the remnants of fires and sees through the eyes of the perpetrator. Agent Natassia Prushenko is a Victim Empath who can see the memories of crime victims -- dead or alive. Agent Ben Roberts is a profiler and Psychometric Empath who experiences flashes or brief visions when he is in contact with a person or object. Together, the three agents are a paranormal force to be reckoned with.

Divine Intervention has received rave reviews since its release in September 2004. It has been hailed by Real Estate Weekly reporter, Heather Andrews Miller, as an excellent suspenseful thriller [that promises to keep readers engrossed". Christines Book List calls it fantastic...a pleasant diversion". The series, which is set primarily in Canada, will be an ongoing project for Tardif. The second book, Divine Justice, is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2005 and features the authors hometown of Edmonton.

Tardif has been hailed as the new Canadian J.D. Robb" and a gem in the literary world". Recently nominated for the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Award, she was first noticed with the release of her debut novel, Whale Song, in 2003. This novel also has an element of the paranormal as it reflects on the idea of reincarnation. Whale Song has since captured the interest of a leading Canadian film producer.
