How the Heart Gets In – Poetry As A Powerful Tool for Making Critical Changes in Our Work and Personal Lives

Share Article

Why do we so often abandon our resolutions at the New Year, and at other times as well? The answer. . . No heart, no change. Poetry, like nothing else, connects our hearts to the critical changes we most want to make in our personal and work lives. Join Dale Biron, poet, organizational coach, poetry editor, and accomplished speaker to experience world-class poetry, especially presented to help you successfully navigate change. Saturday workshop also features Judy Burgio, Master Coach and Nutritionist.

Join Master Coach and Poet Lecturer, Dale Biron with Master Coach and Nutritionist, Judy Burgio for two timely events, designed to help unlock our natural strengths and capacities for making lasting changes in our lives.

Where is your heart? Is it fully connected to the changes you’re working on in your life? Because without our heart’s true engagement, our only tools for making changes in our lives, are reason and will power. And while both reason and will power are essential, they are neither sufficient nor sustainable.

The Friday evening lecture will harness the power of world-class poetry to fully engage and connect our hearts to the changes we most want to make in our personal and business lives. The Saturday workshop, entitled The Invisible Cage, will examine how our minds either form unseen cages, frustrating our efforts, or act in unison with our hearts to form wings for speeding us along on our journey of change. Workshop participants will leave with many practical coaching ideas and tools, as well as the knowledge to create their own personal plan of change and transition.
