The Scooter Superstore, through Companion Health Services of Boston, has negotiated an exclusive agreement in which it has the option of providing Durable Medical Equipment inside Wal-Mart Supercenters throughout Nebraska as spaces become available.
(PRWEB) February 3, 2005 -- The Scooter Superstore, through Companion Health Services of Boston, has negotiated an exclusive agreement in which it has the option of providing Durable Medical Equipment inside Wal-Mart Supercenters throughout Nebraska as spaces become available.
We are very excited to be a piece of the puzzle in providing necessary health care items in a setting that is a huge convenience to our customers," stated company spokesman Mark Frederick, in conjunction with the pharmacies and optical centers already in place, we will coordinate not only durable medical equipment, but also partner with others to provide oxygen, home health services, and audiology out of one convenient location."
The first store location will be at 8700 Andermatt Drive, Lincoln, NE with a opening date of April 1st, 2005. Wal-Mart presently has 20 Supercenters in Nebraska and is constantly looking to add others, as the proposed location at 84th and Adams in Lincoln indicates. Wal-Mart last year donated over $150 million to support communities and local non-profit organizations around the world.
It goes hand in hand with our philosophy of helping out those in need. Since we have come into the market 10 years ago, coverage issues have changed drastically with Medicare and private insurance, and this year we may see the biggest changes yet. To allow our customers the choices they deserve at the everyday best prices, this agreement could not fit our philosophy any better," stated marketing coordinator Craig Workman.
The Scooter Superstore has a national supply warehouse located in Lincoln, Nebraska and three Nebraska retail sites located in Lincoln, Omaha, and Grand Island.
