Significant Price Reduction on "Treatment Planning Made Easy Software"© for the Macintosh Version

FGrosso.com announces a significant price reduction for its Macintosh version of "Treatment Planning Made Easy" ©. The announcement precedes a move towards developing a web-based mental health treatment planning website for all mental health clinicians.

Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) February 4, 2005 -- The president of FGrosso.com, Federico C. Grosso, DDS, PhD, MFT, BCFE announced that the company has significantly reduced the price of the current Macintosh version of its Treatment Planning Made Easy Software ©. The company will be integrating the software into a web-based application, which will provide mental health treatment plans with any clinician with an Internet connection and a computer printer. The current Macintosh stand-alone version will continue to receive technical support.

The concept for creating this software arose from Dr. Grossos experience as a forensic expert in malpractice cases involving marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers, and drug and alcohol counselors. Dr. Grosso said in a recent lecture: I am always amazed at the large number of psychotherapists who are unable to defend their treatment in court because they lacked an appropriate treatment plan in their mental health records."

An increasing number of states are moving toward requiring mental health clinicians to maintain appropriate records. It is generally recognized that patients can be injured in a variety of ways when their mental health treatment cannot be documented due to the lack of such treatment records. Experts are recognizing that the treatment plan serves as a fundamental structure in documenting the psychotherapists assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the client according to the Standard of Care. This is also known as the Therapeutic or Counseling Duty and psychotherapists have a legal and ethical duty to document the provision of this duty to their clients.

This software allows clinicians to access a database of 26 clinical issues, which address the four phases of treatment: Crisis Phase, Beginning Phase, Middle Phase, and Ending Phase. The clinician can also create personalized templates that can be used repeatedly for future patients or modified as needed. The software incorporates a 5-Axis DSM diagnostic protocol with related databases. Using drag-and-drop" allows the clinician to work quickly through the process of creating or adapting new or existing treatment plans or treatment plan templates. This software is totally HIPAA compliant and it provides essential password security. The program runs on Windows and on Mac OS 8.6 to 10. Instruction on obtaining trial versions" are available at http://www.fgrosso.com >> Software.

The cost of the Windows version is $149 and the Mac version is now $50.00. For multiple user purchases contact Dr. Grosso at 805-962-3628 or fcgt(at)fgrosso.com.
