(PRWEB) February 5, 2005 -- The Tadpole Dreams Good Manners Program pitched in to help raise money for the Maryland PTA Scholarship Silent Auction during the 89th Annual Fall Convention. Tadpole Dreams, along with parents, teachers, and business leaders, raised thousands of dollars for scholarships for high school students who plan to pursue degrees in education.

We reviewed the program this summer and thought it had merit," said Maureen Moran, branch chief of the office of academic policy for the Maryland State Board of Education. Tadpole Dreams is a great resource for teachers, guidance counselors and other youth leaders."
Several middle schools and day camps have put the program to good use. Our teachers are having a great time with Tadpole Dreams, said Laura Kang, middle school head at Severn School in Severna Park. The children are enjoying it as well. Its a great way to emphasize the positive aspects benefits of good manners and civility."

The program combines a child-friendly, lighthearted 48-page good manners handbook and a curriculum containing more than 50 games, crafts and activities designed to accompany each section.
