On Friday night February 25, 2005 The Cleveland Museum of Art will premier the final cut of ÂThe Night Owls of CoventryÂ, a 35mm film shot in Cleveland. Afterwards the Museum will host a networking party for this event called ÂFast ForwardÂ. The networking party will include Short Films, Digital Art, and Animation.
Give-a-Sheet Productions, and TwistedSpine Productions, have received permission to set-up a Mini Drive-in Theater in The Atrium during the party to air your submissions at No Charge. This is your chance to have your projects seen be Producers, Directors and Stars, as well as be a part of this Cleveland Project and The Cleveland Museum of Art. Entries for consideration must be received no later than Friday February 18th, 2005. (Please note: The Cleveland Museum of Art has final say on what submission they can be shown.)
The Night Owls of Coventry: Laura PaglinÂs funny, touching film, set in 1973 in a Cleveland Heights all-night deli shared by hippies, bikers, fretful neighbors, elderly regulars, and temperamental staff, was screened in a rough cut at the 2003 Cleveland International Film Festival. Now itÂs finished, and you can be among the first to see it in 35mm! Shot in Cleveland. Director and Stars in person. Movie preview and Party, starting at 7:30pm: $20 advance / $25 at the door.
