Wealth Promotion Announces National Work-in-Your-Bunny-Slippers Day

Founder of Bunny Slipper Business Bootcamp, Wealth Promotion, celebrates successful entrepreneurs, small business and those who work from home with National Work-in-Your-Bunny-Slippers Day.

(PRWEB) February 8, 2005 -- Wealth Promotion, an event and promotion company announced today that the company has founded National Work-in-Your-Bunny-Slippers Day set for February 18. National Work-in-Your-Bunny-Slippers Day celebrates entrepreneurs and small business owners who embrace the entrepreneurial lifestyle amassing millions of dollars in wealth every year working from home-based businesses in their 'bunny slippers.

We want to build awareness about the success entrepreneurs and small business owners enjoy, and the personal freedom and work/life balance that this lifestyle represents," said Barbara Drazga, President of Wealth Promotion and Founder of Bunny Slipper Business Bootcamp, a 3-day intensive on March 4-6,2005 in Las Vegas. There are tons of opportunities available to work from home that we will teach people at our event and we hope others will join our ranks."

In celebration of National Work-in-Your-Bunny-Slippers Day we encourage employees in corporate environments to entrepreneurs to proudly wear their Bunny Slippers to build awareness about this celebrated day honoring entrepreneurial and small business success that keeps the United States economy thriving.

According to Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko, the authors of the Millionaire Next Door, entrepreneurs and small business owners more often achieve millionaire status than any other group of individuals. Business owners quickly understand the value of a dollar, learn how to save money and protect their income from taxes through savvy investments. Today there is an abundance of home-based business opportunities from real estate to Internet-based businesses.

National Work-in-Your-Bunny-Slippers Day Trivia:

Work at Home
While not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur, more and more corporations are encouraging employees to work from home to save on overhead office space. The average commuter loses 2 1/2 months of their life each year. Lets do the math - the average rush-hour commute is 45 minutes, twice a day. Each week, commuters are driving 7.5 hours a week. That is 375 hours for the year or 2 1/2 months.

How About Job Security?
The days are over when a college graduate gets an entry-level job and works their way up the corporate ladder, secure in the notion that upon retirement the company will throw a party, present a gold watch and there will collect a healthy pension. Today most people change jobs every three years and change careers once every 7-8 years. It is expected that people will have at least three different careers in their lifetime. Why not make the next career move the right one that accommodates work/life balance?

How About a Raise?
Over the past three years, most corporate employees have not gotten a 2-3 percent cost-of-living raise, let alone a significant pay increase. Self-employed people decide how much money they will make. It is the self-employed, who make the decisions necessary to bring in new business, start new projects, and further build current ones.

What About Retirement and Social Security
Dont ask Enron employees about company pensions or retirement plans! When you are self-employed you create your own Self-Employed Pension Plan (SEP Account) and other investments and tax shelters. Again the self-employed decide how much to put away for retirement.

Social Security is part of an ongoing national debate. Will there be enough money in the Social Security fund to support future generations that have already paid into the program? No one knows the answer for sure.

It is the entrepreneur that decides its time to take control of his/her own future! Wealth Promotion celebrates entrepreneurs and small business owners on February 18, and celebrates the future earnings they will make to support their independent lifestyles.
