One of Boston's Best Image Consultants Evangelia Souris, AICI, CIP of Optimum Image, Provides the Solution to the Realization of Employee Corporate Branding

Image Enhancement programs are not always successful in group settings. Boston Image Consultant Evangelia Souris offers a time tested Image Consulting solutions to the problem.

(PRWEB) February 9, 2005 -- After working with many Human Resource Professionals, Boston Image Consultant Evangelia Souris, AICI, CIP, noticed a common concern in "Employee Image":

-Employees do not always present the image that best illustrates their organization.
-Employees are inappropriately dressed (underdressed, over-dressed).
-Managers feel that business could improve if their employees distinguished their image from that of the competitions'.
-Many high-performing employees are being held back by their Image.

Souris believes that corporations historically have been spending millions in creating, improving and redefining brands. Their ultimate wish is to be distinguished amongst the best. The problem she has noticed is that corporations have difficulty in implementing Image brand modification training in group settings. "People show up at these training programs because they are mandatory, but they do not buy into the process ... they become very defensive" complains one noted client.

Souris states that she has noticed remarkable results in Image betterment programs when she works with people one on one, only because its success has to do with ones self image. A very private element that can not be revealed in a Image workshop, surrounded by ones peers.

What works best is to deal with the issue at hand and to never criticize an employee's Image. What needs to be addressed is the effect of one's Image in relation to work performance, states Souris. Because it is such a sensitive issue, employers shy away from addressing Image related problems.

They do have options such as employee sponsored consultations where an employer or corporation can maximize a particular employee's image and or presentation skills. Each Image Enhancement program is tailored to each individual's needs, and may consist of some or all of the following:

Image assessment and analysis, Wardrobe Review, Grooming and hygiene Personal Shopping Communication Skills Coaching; Business etiquette and protocol; Cross cultural and gender communication; Image communication, perception and management; Meeting management and facilitation; Customer service; Telephone skills; Professional and long term Image Support to ensure application of image goals.
