In this day of uncertainty, war, strife between people and nations, and as we come ever nearer to the Lord’s return, people need to know, without a doubt, that God loves them. They need to know God’s love is for real.

The publisher of the new book “Yes, Jesus Loves Me: 31 Love Stories” (Good Word Productions, ISBN, 0-9715353-0-2, $15.95) unveils the stories of 31 women from varied ages, ethnic backgrounds, and religious orientation who share the experiences that brought them into the personal knowledge of God’s love. It is a book for anyone who has the desire to know God’s love in a more personal and intimate way.

“This collection is the result of divine inspiration and the personal desire, as well as need to reconcile the universal with the personal love of God in my own life,” says Kathy Hood Culmer, president of Good Word Productions, publisher of “Yes Jesus Loves Me.”

“Many of us grow up having at least heard about God’s love—that He made us and that He loves us, whether we believe it or not. Some of us may have grown up singing the well-known children’s song: Yes, Jesus Loves Me. We may even know about God’s love as it is described in John 3:16, ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son….’ I am convinced, however, that it is when we come to know God’s love in a personal sense, when we finally get it that, ‘Yes, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves even me,’ that God’s love becomes life-saving and life-changing.”

In “Yes Jesus Loves Me” Culmer, who is also a professional storyteller, opens a window into the hearts of women who have been touched by Christ along their path. Just a few of the highlights include:

•    Jeanette’s Love Story—Jeanette Clift George, Founder and Artistic Director, Houston-based A.D. Players Christian Theater Co., tells of the unscheduled epiphany—one of many interruptions of God in her life while working in theater in New York

•    Judy’s Love Story—Judy Neptune, Lay Director, Deaf Ministry group, Episcopal Diocese of Texas, began to understand why she mattered to God during a trip to the ocean

•    Lois’ Love Story—Pastor, Teacher, Writer, Storyteller, Artist, Pastoral Assistant at First Baptist Church in Browns Mills, N.J., tells how God healed her deep wounds.
