New Poetry Book is Released by Michelle True

True Emotions has received numerous positive reviews to date and contains poems about various subjects such as relationships, moving forward in life, how the process of writing feels like for a writer, homelessness, war, divorce, parenthood, and other issues.
Michelle's mission is to help promote poetry in the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago. To that end, she founded and operates Poetic License Writers Group, which meets at the Indian Trails Library in Wheeling once a month. She also founded and operates True Poet Magazine (www.truepoetmagazine.com).
As Poetry Editor for "The Professional Author Newsletter" she write a monthly column ("The Published Poet") in which she provides tips for how poets can improve their writing skills, find new poetry markets and get published. She has been interviewed in several radio talk shows, and for several newspaper articles. She was selected as the Featured Writer for June 2004 by Poetic Voices, an award-winning Internet-based poetry magazine.
She mentors high school students interested in a writing career and is a member of several local, state and national literary organizations.
