On January 7, 2005 Inovaware became an official member of the The WiMax ForumÂ?. WiMax Forum is a nonprofit association formed in 2003 by equipment and component suppliers to promote the adoption of IEEE 802.16 compliant equipment by operators of broadband wireless access systems.

WiMAX Forum is comprised of industry leaders who are committed to the open interoperability of all products used for broadband wireless access. Current members represent 85% of the current sub 11 GHz BWA sales and aggregate sales of the membership is continuing to increase. As a member of the WiMax Forum Inovaware now has the opportunity to propose, shape and influence interoperability standards for the BWA market.
