The Sports Outlaw Releases the 2005 San Francisco 49ers Off-season Team Report

The end of a disappointing season is over. Don't expect the San Francisco 49ers to set back and drown in the misery of the past. This is a storied franchise, and a franchise that does not like to lose, especially for any considerable time. Rebuilding this team has already started with a change at the top (head coach). This is a portion of the San Francisco 49ers article available at http://www.sportsoutlaw.com

(PRWEB) February 12, 2005 --Mike Nolan, formerly the Defensive Coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens (01-04), and presently the Head Coach of the 2005 Niners has his work cut out for him. While I have my doubts, I think the Niners are in better shape now than they were in December of '04.

Nolan and his protégé, Mike Singletary (Assistant Head Coach and Linebackers Coach), bring a new approach to The City; defense, defense and defense. A.J. Christoff will be coaching the secondary after spending two seasons as the Stanford Cardinal co-defensive coordinator.

On the other side of the ball the West Coast Offense is back. Bring on the days of Mike McCarthyism. It's not about being in the red anymore, but about staying in the black. As in the plus side of the score. Mike McCarthy, formerly of the high octane New Orleans Saints, brings the west coast back to the west coast. Joining McCarthy will be Offensive Line Coach George Warhop, late of the Dallas Cowboys, Receivers Coach Jerry Sullivan formerly of the Miami Dolphins. QB's coach is Jim Hostler formerly of the Jets.
