California jewelry designer Amy Peters' jewelry is featured on one of this season's hottest television shows, "The OC". Last season "The OC" quickly became know as the place to watch for emerging fashions. And this season of the show, Alexandra Wexler, the costume designer is keeping up with her reputation.

"When her assistant phoned to tell us she was excited about using our designs on the show, she wasn't kidding" notes Peters.    

Olivia Wilde who plays the character Alex has been sporting Message Bead Necklaces, Chunky Chokers and Rings from Amy Peters' Studio signature collection of inspirational jewelry. The fun and casual style of Alex is perfect for Peters' work and to date the jewelry has been used on 4 episodes.

California style comes easy to Peters, a California native, she now lives in Pismo Beach in picturesque Central California. Her designs are noted for thier simple and whimsical style,

with heartfelt messages for the wearer. One of the designs worn on "The OC" holds the message 'It's not the destination, it's the journey."

Unlike some of the fashions you will see on "The OC" Peters' designs won't break the bank. "I design my pieces to be affordable and attainable for every day girls" says Peters. Retail Prices for designs range between $20 and $50, making it easy to wear a little bit of "The OC" no matter where you live.

This isn't the first time that Peters' designs have graced the small screen. Peters' designs made their television debut on the neck of Elisabeth Filarski (Hasselbeck) on season two of

"Survivor". Designs have also been seen on "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and on the movie "Walking Tall". As well as in some of Hollywood's most coveted gift bags.
