AuctionZip.com Makes Finding Live Auctions Easier with Launch of Auction Alerts

AuctionZip.com, the Nation's Largest Directory of Auction Listings announced today the launch of AuctionZip Auction Alerts. With the launch of this new service, auction attendees nationwide will be able to receive automatic notification if any item they are looking for is listed among the sites 4,000+ live auction events.

(PRWEB) February 22, 2005 -- Auction goers in the past have had thousands of online resources to turn to for auction information. Now, AuctionZip is the first place that many are turning. With over 4,000 auctions to choose from, and the ability to search by area, auctioneer, date, and keywords, auction goers are using the site in record numbers.

With the announcement of the new Auction Alerts feature, AuctionZip has taken another large step ahead as the premier source for live auction information. With Auction Alerts, auction goers may set up automatic searches for items, auctioneers, or all auctions within certain areas. All auction listings that match their searches will be delivered to their email box (in a single email) every morning.

AuctionZip was launched in January of 2004 with the slogan "Find Auctions Fast, Free, and Easy". Although the slogan is no longer found on the site's home page, The AuctionZip team more than delivers. Searching for auctions at the site is both quick and simple. Auction goers may search for auctions however they chose, with area and keywords being the most popular methods. The site is completely free for both Auctioneers and Auction Goers.

AuctionZip co-founder Steve Johnson stated "The launch of Auction Alerts is a huge advancement in making the site easier. AuctionZip users conduct thousands of searches each day for specific items that they deal in, collect, or just happen to be looking for. These site users will now be able to have their searches done automatically"

AuctionZip was founded by Johnson and partner Joe Koval because of their own search for auction information. Both attended many auctions on a weekly basis and spent countless hours searching hundreds of websites for auction listings. They were frustrated that there was not a single internet source where they could find a large number of auction listings in their area. Now, one year later, AuctionZip answers the needs of Johnson, Koval, and over 100,000 other auction goers that use the site on a regular basis. AuctionZip users logged 6 million page views to the site in the last 90 days of 2004. The site has already received 6 Million Page Views in the first 42 days of 2005.
