(PRWEB) February 13, 2005 -- Introducing Hiding in Plain Sight" written by Autumn Christ. This book will give you insight into the struggles of Eating Disorders, Abuse, Self-Injury, Psychological Disorders and the journey towards Recovery and Healing.

Eating Disorders are not about food, but about traumatic episodes that happen in our lives which make us act out in harmful and sometimes fatal ways. In this book you will find the warning signs and symptoms to identify with if you know someone who is dealing with these disorders. You will also see the path which is most common for learning to recover and heal one day at a time.

Eating Disorders have become so common over the past ten years, yet victims somehow are still able to conceal their misery and self-destructive behaviors from even their closest friends and family members. More than ten million women and men suffer everyday and the number is rapidly increasing everyday.

Autumn has spent twenty-four years living with these disorders and now is in a strong recovery of thirteen months. She will be holding book signings at the following locations this spring and summer.

Thompson Institute, Harrisburg, PA on Saturday June 11, 2005 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and on July 30, 2005 at The Bookworm Book Store in the Farmer's Market in Lemoyne, PA. There will be a check presentation on June 11, 2005 to Dr. Levine and his clinic for Eating Disorders. News and media will be covering this event.

Be sure to find out more on these events through her website as they will be posted in advance. There will be a book signing also held at Hershey Medical Center in the near future.
