Ananzi Search South Africa and Trafficonomy.com Team Up

“We want to be in the position where we provide our users with the best possible experience through harnessing the best of breed solutions,” said Ananzi Managing Director Mark Buwalda.

“My long-standing association with Mark van Diggelen, head of Trafficonomy.com, will ensure that our association will continue to position Ananzi.co.za and Brabys.com as formidable players in the search engine and business services market spaces,” said Buwalda.

So far, the initiative has included enhancements to the International Search feature on Ananzi and setting up a games channel, which was embraced by Ananzi’s users. An interim mobile solution was also implemented. In future, this feature will also allow users to choose to receive their mobile phone content via WAP, SMS or IVR.

Future projects include introducing a comprehensive communications package to the SME market. This will provide facilities such as e-mail accounts, affordable dial up connections, e-mail to sms services, fax to e-mail, voice over IP, e-mail domain services and more.

“We feel this is an important, yet neglected market. This new range of products will ensure that the SME market is in a position to compete globally by having access to these emerging and necessary business tools,” said van Diggelen.

Both Buwalda and van Diggelen are excited and incredibly optimistic about the future of Ananzi. They are in the process of concluding a deal to provide one of the most exciting new initiatives to reach South Africa’s shores. This new initiative will bridge the gap between the individual and businesses by providing businesses with a web presence and with acceptable levels of web traffic.
