Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 17, 2005 -- iKnowthat.com expands on-line multimedia Math series with Leon's MathBlox game.

The ever-popular Super Math Agent Leon the Chameleon is back. This time kids team up with Leon to build their mental computation skills in addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

The task is simple: select pairs of number blox that complete a given number sentence, such as __ + __ = 20. Of course, the blox are falling and stacking up. But you'll get lots of points when you choose the number combinations before any column of blox stacks up too high. Keep playing and you could top the high scores list at the site.

To add to the fun, there are wildcard blox, bonus point blox, and blox that clear whole columns.

"As kids play Leon's MathBlox, they're using their knowledge of basic arithmetic facts and further developing their mental computation skills," said Gary Kiliany, president of iKnowthat.com Inc. "These skills are important for kids to learn and do more advanced math."

Leon's MathBlox game has 18 different subtopics. It's the latest addition to iKnowthat.coms extensive, standards based math area for PreK to grade 6 that includes activities such as Leon's Math Dojo, Fishy Fractions, and Geometry Workshop. The activities use entertaining characters, animation, and sound to guarantee hours of fun learning. All activities allow you to show friends and family your accomplishments via printing and email invitations.
