Peter Hoagland Tapped as Key Resource to Support Ever-Expanding Marketing Initiatives for ELAN Home Systems

Industry Veteran to Lend Valuable Expertise to ELAN in Support of Specific Marketing Goals

Lexington, KY (PRWEB) February 17, 2005 -- ELAN Home Systems announced today that Marketing Specialist, Peter Hoagland, has joined the companys well-established team of professionals as an independent contractor and consultant. Cat Fowler, ELANs Vice President of Marketing and Technical Services, made the announcement.

A well-respected industry veteran, Mr. Hoagland currently serves as the Chair of the Multi-Room Audio/Video Council (MRAV) for the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and sits on the CEA Audio Board. In his role as a hands-on Contractor and Marketing Specialist for ELAN, Peter will be focusing on a number of significant 2005 marketing projects, including the development of ELANs TRIO Dealer Summit course curriculum and marketing materials. In addition, he will contribute to ELANs product marketing on some of ELANs yet-to-be announced, high-profile product initiatives.

During his successful career in specialty audio, Mr. Hoagland has managed or consulted with many leading brands such as B&W and KEF. Most recently, he was responsible for marketing and media relations for Russound, another popular Multi-Room A/V brand. He also provides marketing services to BG, an innovative brand of high-performance loudspeakers.

In his new capacity at ELAN, he will report directly to Ms. Fowler who oversees all corporate and product marketing activities, technical and customer services, and professional services and programs for ELANs valued Dealers and Distributors.
