Not Just Another Environmental Company: EM America Opens

EM America has been chosen as the sole sales and marketing company for EMRO USA Effective Microorganisms of EM•1® products and other imported EM•1®-based products for the United States as of February 1, 2005. EM•1® products are used in over 100 countries in the fields of horticulture, livestock, environment, and human health.

Alto, TX (PRWEB) February 18, 2005 -- EMRO USA Effective Microorganisms has entered into an agreement with EM America to be the sole sales and marketing company for EMRO USA Effective Microorganisms for the continental United States as of February 1, 2005. EM America will sell EM•1® products and supply technical support and customer services for EM•1®, EM-X, PROEM•1 Probiotic, EM soaps, EM-X Ceramics, and EM Ceramics. EM America will expand the markets of EM•1® within the United States and market licensing of its patents internationally.

Effective Microorganisms (EM•1®) is a safe, organic bacterial product used in various industries from agriculture and the environment to human health. Effective Microorganisms was developed in the 1960's by Dr. Teruo Higa, professor of Horticulture at the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa, Japan. EM•1® products are used in over 120 countries in the fields of horticulture, livestock, environment, and human health. In the recent tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia, EM•1® received recognition for Thai government-ordered applications for odor and disease control in the cleanup after the tsunami.
