Designed to be compatible with the DecoLED systems my-tronic has developed, Chara contains a few upgraded features that define it as innovative. These features are best emphasized by the RGB LED technology used to create the light sources and the control options, some new and ground-breaking".
The RGB LED technique is quite special -- basically it is what manufacturers call the three chip technology": red, green and blue chips are mounted in the same package (LED) but each chip can be individually controlled thus allowing millions colour mixtures and the creation of spectacular light effects. The placement of the three chips in the same package gives also a second advantage, as important as the control, related to the emitted light: its colour is homogeneous, consequently there is no need for additional filters (as some producers use to obtain an uniform colour) that will reduce the lights brightness. Or maybe brightness is not necessary. If so, the light sources are fully dimmable and this quality is for the best, for it might save energy and prolong LEDs life.
These effects make Chara so special: imagine a lamp able to display any light effect you would like with just a push of a button. The pre-programmed effects setting the Chara Lamps vary from a slow-motioned rainbow to a rough fire, a strobe or a meditation" colour change (in soft tones of green, blue or orange). By now wellness studios inquire these products, and there are already many clubs where the Chara Spheres, for instance, are a common, but not ordinary, part of the scenery. Charas can be used anywhere: as eye-catchers in the window of a shop, or decorative means wherever people need a relaxing (or cool) atmosphere: swimming pools and steam baths, theatres, bars, restaurants, discos, casinos, gardens, cruise ships and many more.
But it is not only the pre-programmed effects that matter. In fact, they are just an easy, stand alone solution. Chara LED Light Sources are perfect for professionals too, due to the fact that they are DMX 512 compatible (so new effects, other than the predefined ones can be created), can be chained in a network and controlled simultaneously either through the DMX protocol or by other means such as computer software, Internet, Ethernet, radio controlled remotes and the list could go on.
As the DecoLED line is defined by flexibility and innovation, no wonder that the Chara line posses the same attributes. Custom specific solutions are also available, as well as lamps in different shapes: Chara Cube, Chara Sphere, Chara Ellipsoid, Chara Egg, Chara Pyramid and other tailored shapes, depending on the application. The products are available in different sizes too, for instance the Chara Sphere -- LED light ball -- has sizes between 20 cm diameter and 2 m.
