Johannesburg, South Africa (PRWEB) February 21, 2005

In the Fall of 2003, Ruco Pretorius was a contestant at the Junior World Championships of Performing Arts held in Stellenbosh, South Africa. Little did he know that entertainment executive Germaine "Kingdomchild" Moody, also known as "KC"(CEO of MoodTyme) would be one of the special judges flown in from Hollywood to judge the event. During the conclusive global event founded by former Miss Universe Pageant executive Griff O'Neil, Ruco performed in multiple categories in which displayed his talents as a singer, actor and dancer. The judges were all anxious and excited each time he approached the stage. "Ruco was definitely one of the brightest stars of the 2003 Junior World Championships in my opinion. His stage presence was exhilarating, his personality is such a crowd pleaser and his intellect is beyond his age. Thanks to my good friend Griff O'Neil for inviting me, it was awesome", expressed Moody.

Pretorius, now 12 years old, released his first album "Sing Vir Ons" with the popular South African track "The Warrior", which he performed during the championships with a standing room only. He garnered over 10 gold medals and multiple top recognitions during the final awards ceremony. Not only that, he got the attention of Moody, who then sat down afterwards with Ruco Pretorius and his family to talk about future possibilities and ideas. "To meet Kingdomchild was one of the highlights in my vocal career. Not only was he absolutely professional in his judgment during the Junior World Championships of Performing Arts, he has also been true to his word ever since our meeting in Stellenbosch, South Africa", explained Pretorius. Ruco continued with a personal message to Moody: “KC, I have been dreaming to work with you and to perform in the US. I have worked hard and now I am starting to achieve. The past year, I aimed to stay true to my personal slogan 'Dreaming..Working..Achieving'. Thanks KC, you are inspirational. Let’s revolutionize!”

We could only expect that those talks after the event were positive because this April as Moody returns to South Africa to complete the set up of MoodTyme's South African headquarters in Johannesburg, Pretorius will sign with MoodTyme's entertainment management division. Currently Ruco is in school, working on his second album, writing 3 short stories and touring South Africa.
