Robbers on High Street to Join Virgin College Mega Tour Presented by Dentyne Fire & Dentyne Ice, Mega Tour Announces More Dates
Virgin Megastores and Integrate Marketing are proud to announce New Line recording artist, Robbers on High Street to finalize the Virgin College Mega Tours main stage lineup.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 21, 2005 -- On the heels of their February debut full-length release Tree City (in stores February 22), Robbers on High Street will join the tour along with Columbia Records and multi platinum artist Cake (headliner) and British quintet Gomez. The New York quartet, Robbers on High Street, are already receiving critical acclaim for Tree City, which Rolling Stone called "a smart rock debut. . . that churns out swaggering, citycentric ballads bolstered by wry, whip-smart lyrics and piano-driven melodies". Robbers on High Street will celebrate Tree City with a performance on "Last Call with Carson Daly" on February 24th.
VCMT will also feature a daytime village on campuses that will include an emerging artist" stage --co promotion with Sonicbids-- and a Dentyne karaoke booth, contest give-a-ways and the latest games, new product demonstrations and gadgets for the college market. Following the daytime village activities, the main stage performances will commence that evening.
The second annual Virgin College Mega Tour (VCMT), presented by Dentyne Fire & Dentyne Ice will stop in 20-markets beginning April 5 at UT Austin. Dates as follows:
