School for Children with Autism Gets Support from Long Island Merchants
Long Island New York businesses Step Up To give a Helping Hand to a School dedicated to Autistic Children
Long Island, NY (PRWEB) February 19, 2005 -- (NAMC) -- On Friday February 11, 2005 the Eden II Programs: Genesis School" school for autistic children held their fourth annual fundraising event at Leonards of Great Neck.
The Valentines Dance" as its called, was created as a means to raise funds that will allow the school to continue to provide the necessary educational programs for the autistic students that attend. This was all made possible by the generosity of the long island businesses that contributed, it started with the support of the well-known long island catering hall Leonards of Great Neck" who provided the location.
Through the tireless efforts of the dedicated staff and coordinators of the event they were able to attract support from the long island businesses and community. The coordinators of the event include Debbie and Ross Burwasser, Lisa and Steve Kirschbaum and Diane and Jimmy Scotti,
The list of business sponsors include Bocu Salon and Day Spa, Cactus Salon and Day Spa, Café Testarossa, Cool Fish, Danfords Inn, Disano construction, Dr. Kisner, Fairway, Franks Steak House, Hilton Huntington, IHOP, La Parma, Nubest Salon, Peter Lugers Steak House, Piccola Bussola, Renees, Safe-T-Swim, Safe Construction, Scotti Graphics, Southwest Airlines, Sweet Baby, The Clubhouse, Tiger Schulmanns Karate Center, University Spotys Publications and Wishes in Wicker.
All the proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the education of the children that attend the school.
