The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) approves all IZZYCUE Cage-free Further-processed Egg Labels.

This approval encompasses all cage-free further-processed eggs, including liquid and frozen whole eggs, liquid and frozen plain and sugared yolks, liquid and frozen egg whites, hard-cooked eggs and powdered whole eggs.

Cage-free Eggs:
The vast majority of all commercial egg-laying hens are confined in cages. Keeping hens in cages greatly reduces the potential risk of spreading diseases through their fecal contact.

Overall, it also reduces that amount of dust pollutants and ammonia in the hen house and cuts down the amount of physical labor necessary to manage chickens and collect their eggs.

However, this system is oftentimes perceived as being inhumane; therefore, there is a niche market for eggs produced by chickens raised in a cage-free or free-roaming configurations. Birds raised in a cage-free or free-roaming system are maintained inside on the floor of the hen house. Moreover if the label says "free-range", you can then expect that the chickens were allowed to graze or roam outdoors.
