Teleos, an E.ON Westfalen Weser, opted for Interactive Intelligences Customer Interaction Center(r) (CIC) contact centre software in December 2003. The call centre has around 50 agents who serve approximately 36,000 customers. These customers are offered a variety of ways to contact the call centre, including phone, email, fax, SMS and unified messaging. The softwares rich functionality, easy reporting, easy administration and easy integration to the existing telecoms and IT infrastructure mean that it has gone on to replace the old telephone infrastructure.

Interactive Intelligences CIC software provides comprehensive, easy to use contact centre automation. It enables contact centres to pick and choose applications from call routing to unified messaging, with comprehensive real time reporting functions across all forms of contact, from calls and emails through to SMS and web interactions. It is highly scalable and changes in set up are simple 'drag 'n drop operations.

As one of the first vendors to offer an open, software-based multi-channel contact centre solution, we established ourselves as an early leader in the marketplace," said Tony Martin, Director of EMEA Marketing for Interactive Intelligence. Over the past year we have maintained and built on that lead by continuing to innovate using standards-based technologies such as SIP designed to further reduce total cost of ownership, increase operational efficiencies, and better protect our customers' investment." Interactive Intelligence's European customers include Zurich Bank, Honda, Cetelem, Skandia, and Telefonica.
