Under the provisions of this new agreement with VoicePort, Message Technologies, Inc. will be providing a turnkey hosting location for VoicePort by combining its live agent services and its application hosting services.
VoicePort is a VXML developer, catering specifically to the publishing industry. Their streamlined, automated products allow newspaper customers to call in and submit relevant information. For example, customers are able to call in to place an advertisement for cars using the application AdPort®. MTI will host AdPort® and allow VoicePort to take advantage of their extensive hosting infrastructure, which features redundancy and load balancing, virtually eliminating call failures. VoicePorts application provides both the Voice User Interface (VUI) and an agent Graphical User Interface (GUI) which automatically shows the agent all of the information captured by AdPort.
In addition to hosting VoicePorts speech applications on best-of-breed platforms, MTI will also be providing live agents to back up the automated system. Through the use of MTIs intelligent transfer capability and VoicePorts agent GUI application the live agents will have immediate access to all the information gathered by the automated system and be able to complete the transaction.
