Klatu Transfers Regional Distribution Business Unit to Strategic Partner

Beginning Monday, February 21st, 2005, Klatu Inc. Klatu is transfering its reseller and regional distribution operations to a local Miami Area reseller. Klatu's Latintech.Net business unit handles direct sales to individual, institutional and corporate consumers throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

As an authorized Ingram Micro and Tech Data IT reseller for the Latin American region, LatinTech.net draws on the inventories of the world’s largest distributors of IT products, displaying a selection of approximately 50,000 active IT products from HP, Compaq and other major manufacturers of components, networking products, peripherals, software and systems.

LatinTech.net displays real-time pricing and availability in both Spanish and English to their U.S. forwarder or consolidator, their country, or to their door.

The transition will take place during the end of February, will be completed on March 01, 2005, and should not affect current orders or ongoing sales. Klatu will focus on developing and licensing international e-commerce solutions to resellers and other companies and provide consulting and support in international e-commerce, logistics, customs clearance and importation, and export compliance.
