Dr/NABSE to Host Brain Research Symposium
The Dallas Regional/National Alliance of Black School Educators (Dr/NABSE) will host their 2nd symposium on neuroscience and learning for the African American Child on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Mountain View College from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
(PRWEB) February 23, 2005 -- The Dallas Regional/National Alliance of Black School Educators (Dr/NABSE) is hosting their 2nd Brain Research Symposium entitled Using Brain Research to Leave No African American Child Behind". The event will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Mountain View College. Many African American children are still falling between the cracks with regard to academic achievement. The dropout rate for this subgroup is soaring. The Dallas Regional/National Alliance of Black School Educators (Dr/NABSE) believes that if they cannot learn the way we teach, we must teach the way they learn. Dr/NABSE is a non-profit organization composed predominately of African American educators that are committed to the achievement of all children and especially those children of African American descent.
