Steven Gintowt Joins GFO Consulting

Gintowt brings 24 years of international finance and management expertise to GFO Consulting. Over his career, he has specialized in taking companies public, on-line commerce, smartcards, telecommunications, financial services and information systems. Most recently, Gintowt completed an assignment as the interim CFO at the Abramson Center For Jewish Life in North Wales, Pa. He will continue to serve on Abramsons finance board.

Before joining GFO Consulting, Gintowt served as a co-founder and CFO of ActiveEurope, Ltd., the largest on-line event registration company in Europe. From 1999-2003, he was VP of Finance for Gemplus International SA the global leader in smartcards. Based in Gemenos, France, he was instrumental in launching an IPO on US and European exchanges.

From 1997-1999, Gintowt served as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Unisys Corporation in Blue Bell, PA. He also held a number of key positions with the General Electric Company and Affiliates from 1981-1997. At present, Gintowt is also a member of the Board of Directors for Triathlete Magazine. He holds an Executive MBA from Duke University in Durham, NC and a BA in Economics & Business from Lafayette College in Easton, PA where he was also captain of the varsity fencing team.
