Free Course for Aspiring Comedians

Free course shows new comedians how to develop their own stage time and reduce dependency on open mikes for stage time.

Where does the new comedian go to develop a killer comedy act for the stage? The most common answer is the open mike. According to comedy pioneer Steve Roye, the open mike is the last place an aspiring comedian should go to develop a comedy act. Roye has just released new course entitled "Making Your Own Stage Time Now!" to introduce a new way of obtaining stage time that can greatly reduce or even eliminate the usual dependency new comedians have on open mikes.

Open mikes are widely regarded as the brutal training ground for new comedians. Roye, a veteran comedian since 1992, knows all too well about the dreaded open mike. "By and large they are poorly run, they don't really foster comedy talent, and have turned into competitions about who can bring the most people to a show in order to get stage time" states Roye.

Roye did not develop his initial comedy routine at open mikes and has a great interest in developing alternative methods for funny people to develop their comedy skills for the stage. He is the author of the best selling Killer Stand-up Comedy System and inventor of the patent pending Comedy Evaluator Pro software.

The "Making Your Own Stage Time Now!" course is currently free to anyone who signs up for it at is a division of the Global Comedy Network, an internationally recognized organization dedicated to business systems development, product research, quality improvement and marketing strategy development for world entertainment markets in the field of comedy entertainment and presentations incorporating humor.
