Rocky Mountain Valuation Specialists is expanding it's team of professionals. Mr. Deane Davenport, MAI, CCIM, SR/WA, SRA joins our team with years of experience in litigation support and eminent domain. Deane is also well versed in Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions.
(PRWEB) February 25, 2005 -- Rocky Mountain Valuation Specialists is proud to announce the addition of its newest Director, Mr. Deane L. Davenport, MAI, CCIM, SR/WA, SRA. Deane has a long and varied background in real estate appraisal in the States of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota prior to coming to Colorado.
Mr. Davenport has been involved in real estate appraising since 1977. He is a General Real Property Appraiser with licenses in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Colorado. He holds the highest designations awarded from the Appraisal Institute, The International Association of Right of Way and National Association of Realtors CCIM Institute.
Many of his assignments in the last 10 years have involved litigation support in County, State and Federal courts. Governmental clients have included all three States Departments of Transportation; both National and State Game and Parks Commissions; South Dakota Fire Marshals office; the Internal Revenue Service; and such Fortune 500 companies as IBP/Tyson, General Motors, Ford and Terra International.
Private prestigious law firms he has partnered with include --May Adam Gerdes & Thompson; Chet Groseclose; Danforth Meierhenry & Meierhenry; and Davenport Evans Hurwitz & Smith law firms of South Dakota; the Baird, Holm, McEachen, Pedersen, Hamann, & Strasheim law firm of Omaha Nebraska; the Crary Huff Inkster Sheehan Ringgenberg Hartnett & Storm law firm and the Heidman, Redmond Fredregill Patterson Plaza Dykstra & Prahl law firm in Sioux City Iowa. He has worked closely with the States Attorneys Offices in Iowa and Nebraska. He has done reviews for the Iowa Board of Real Estate Examiners. In his long tenure, he has worked for most Counties and Cities real estate and legal departments within a ±100 radius of Sioux City. The cases have involved areas from floodplain issues; zoning, acquisitions (total and partial), conservation easements, Conservation and Replacement" public land trades to bridges and towers. His corridor work includes multiple parcel street projects to the $67 million Perry Creek flood control project in Sioux City Iowa for the Army Corps of Engineers.
Mr. Davenport has been a board member of the Siouxland Economic Development Council; the Affordable Housing Advisory Council for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines; Sales Tax Financial Oversight Committee for the Sioux City School Board; Editorial Review Board for the Journal of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute"; Siouxland YMCA and has been past president of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Siouxland.
