(PRWEB) February 27, 2005 --Some many people have been Remixing Jay-zs Black Album, but theres only been 2 that has caught my attention, Dj Smurfs and Cblacks the Black Album RemixCD, where Cblack reconstructs Jay-zs words and uses them as hooks. While other producers remix just the production, Cblack produces brand new songs, Cblack also wrote hooks and performed on some songs with the legendary rapper. A lot of people ask me why I did this remix cd, for me it was a test of my talent Ive been working with local independent for a while, so I guess it was a test never thinking I would release it".

As I listened to the remix cd, I was impressed with not only the production work, also the creative songwriting, but came to a sudden stop when I heard the Encore Rmx. Cblack made some references to Atlanta based rapper Ludacris stating in lyrics: Skinny Black bitch not the one in the movie/this aint Ludacris no hustle flow/I had my name way before the movie". I personally asked Cblack about this and he said and quote: I was not taking shots Ludacris, but letting people know that I had that name before the movie was made, as an independent artist people will think I took the name from him, but other than that I think Ludacris is a gifted wordsmith".
