NY Bird Story now titled 'Bird Story'

Live action / animated feature f/k/a 'NY Bird Story' and 'NY Bird Tale' will be released simply as 'Bird Story'.

(PRWEB) February 26, 2005 -- Astoria Films, a NY-based independent motion picture studio has announced its first venture into animation with the production of 'A Bird Story' (f/k/a NY Bird Story & NY Bird Tale). All the major cultures will be representin' in this hilarious yet heartfelt story about friendship and competition amongst the different bird 'gangs' that inhabit the city, each with a unique attitude only real New Yorkers could have. As the rest of us fantasize about the special freedom our feathered friends enjoy, there is serious trouble in their world which threatens them all. While they usually have to guard their tail feathers just to see another day, the time has come to put aside their continuous rivalry for food and territory and flock together against an unseen enemy or face total extinction. This original screenplay was written by Roy Carlo, whose NYC upbringing is clearly evident, creating dialogue that sparkles throughout the story. Featuring 'a gaggle of famous voices' BIRD STORY will fly the coop and land in theaters in 2007.
