Executive Director Bryan Richards comments, "This is an incredible opportunity for these kids. We'll see outstanding competition on the soccer field, but more importantly, we'll witness the growth of friendships. These youth live over 4,000 miles apart, but they all love the game of soccer and they're going through parallel experiences in school and at home. they will be part of one of the most thrilling spectacles in sport, the 2006 World Cup." IndyCologne 2006 is a nonprofit program that brings together the resources of the Indianapolis-Cologne Sister City Committee; the FC Pride soccer club of Lawrence, Indiana; and the leading city officials and youth soccer clubs of Cologne.
